What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a high-impact Master Scheduler to join our team in Roseburg. This vital role serves as the central link between Sales, Purchasing, and the Shop Floor, ensuring that materials and capacity are perfectly aligned to meet our customer commitments.

Working alongside our existing knowledgeable scheduler, you will lead the charge to formalize, digitize, and continuously improve how we execute work across our entire manufacturing operation. We need a professional who thrives at both a tactical and strategic level—someone who can drive daily execution while building the scalable systems and discipline necessary for our long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Master Scheduling: Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) using Global Shop APS to balance customer demand with available capacity.
  • Capacity Management: Analyze work center constraints and collaborate with Operations management to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Material Planning (MRP): Manage MRP to identify shortages, generate purchase requisitions, and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routers.
  • Work Order Management: Create and manage production work orders, ensuring job packets and material allocations are complete and accurate.
  • ERP Implementation: Serve as a core member of the Global Shop ERP implementation team, assisting with data migration, configuration, and go-live testing.
  • Performance Reporting: Generate and distribute reports on schedule attainment, on-time delivery, and material status.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials management in a manufacturing environment.
  • ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with an ERP system is required; Global Shop Solutions experience is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of MRP, BOMs, routers, and capacity planning, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations.
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification: APICS CPIM or CSCP certification (or active pursuit) is a plus.
